            Saari-kitchen is individually-tailored

            Special attention  has been paid to continuous product development and high quality of the Saari-kitchens. Carefully chosen materials and high-quality carpentry combined with the latest production technologies create a refined end result which endures test of time.

            Every unique Saari kitchen reflects its owner.  The customer  can choose the materials, measures and functional solutions he/she likes. The materials are chosen in production to fully correspond  the customer’s needs in the order,  this guarantees  the high and even quality of the end product – e.g. the wood veneers being of even quality and of continuous wood fibers. Experienced and skilled carpenters fabricate the customer’s kitchen made- to-order using the newest production technologies.  In various stages of the manufacture there are also many hand-crafted phases. In the end the product is assembled and thoroughly inspected before delivery to the customer. The products are always delivered measure accurate and ready-assembled. In this way the quality of the fittings set is excellent, the functionality tested at the factory and no mounting problems shall arise to the product.

            Only the best mechanisms and accessories on the market have been chosen to Saari kitchens as well as high-quality raw materials.  Our aim is to use wood that has been grown in a forest treated according to the principles of sustainable development.  The drawers have been tested with a 30 kg weight opening and closing them 100,000 times.  The durability of the deep accessory drawers is a constant 50 kg. The door hinges have been tested by 200,000 openings. This is equivalent to opening the door eight times a day, every day for 68 years.

            The products are designed to endure both esthetically and having functionally, also attention has been paid to the kitchens’ price/quality ratio.  Saari is also a healthy and odorless choice, because the coating materials of the products do not contain formaldehyde which vaporizes slowly to the room air.

            Carefully refined production processes guarantee that the made-to-order products are manufactured in due time and the delivery takes place exactly at the time agreed.. This spares time and the overall cost of building and renovating.

            The Saari fittings have become well-known of their clean shape Scandinavian design, which have also been illustrated during years by many international and national furniture publications.  Saari kitchens have been exhibited on many international arenas like The London Design Museum in 2000 and at the Design Forum in Helsinki  already in 1993. In 2006 the Version 1 collection  was chosen as the only finnish kitchen to the Finnish Design Yearbook publication.

            In 2006 Pinjasto Oy Ltd.  was chosen as Enterprise of the Year in carpentry industry  from among  500  carpentry industry companies and awarded with the Lignum Fennicum prize.  Pinjasto Oy Ltd. is the only kitchen fittings manufacturer to have been awarded the highly prestigious prize.

            Saari – carpenter craftsmanship with high technology

            Pinjasto Oy Ltd. is a Finnish family-owned company, formed in 1993.  Pinjasto Oy Ltd. manufactures and markets Saari kitchens and other fixed fittings for homes.  The company’s main office and production are located in Salo. The business concept  is to manufacture high-quality fittings to meet the customers’ individual needs.  Saari kitchens combines decades of solid Finnish carpentry craftsmanship  with modern design and innovative solutions.

            Pinjasto Oy Ltd. has grown from a small carpentry workshop to a modern production factory.  Nowadays Saari fittings are sold in addition to Finland also in Sweden (from 1993), Great Britain (from 2004), Russia (from 2008) and Norway and Switzerland (from 2010).  Additionally there have been export projects  to various different countries.  The export share of the turnover varies yearly between 20 -30 percent.  Pinjasto Oy Ltd. is a member company of the  Finnish Woodwork  Association  and the Finnish Family Firms Association.  Pinjasto Oy Ltd. is one of  the strongest companies evaluated by Suomen Asiakastieto Oy Ltd. and is also the highflyer company of Kauppalehti magazine in 2011.
